We had a good first day back yesterday! It takes a little adjustment, but we are getting back into a good routine :)
Student Binders: In your child's binder you will find the new Pizza Hut Book It calendar for November, the new November family project (due November 19), and also the new spelling and memory for this week.
October Pizza Hut Book It Reading Calendars can still be turned in through Friday. In order for students to receive a certificate for a free, personal size pizza, students must read at least 20 minutes/ 5 days a week.
The Good Shepherd Virtual Scholastic Book Fair started yesterday! Our school goal is $2,000 in sales. Book orders of $25 or more will receive free shipping.
Missing Items: Please have your child return any school items used during virtual learning to school asap. If your child is missing anything, an email will be sent to you listing the missing items. It is very important to return these items so that we do not have to charge your account to replace the item.
Picture Retakes: Mark your calendars for November 18 at 9am. If your student was absent for pictures originally or if you would like your child to retake their picture.

Chapel: Second grade is in charge of chapel on November 18! I will send a link out that day so that you can see your child participate in our chapel message.
Second Quarter Chapel Offering will support South Wisconsin District Disaster Response/Mercy Ministry Hurricane Sally relief.This ministry sends volunteer teams to cities and regions impacted by natural disasters such as floods, hurricanes, fires and tornados. 100% of our offerings will be used to rebuild families lives one house at a time affected by Hurricane Sally. Chapel offerings can be brought in on Wednesdays!
Thank you for all the donations that were brought in for Mary's Room! They are so appreciated by all involved with Mary's Room. Second grade will be enjoying an extra recess soon as they won the competition!
